Running your own business means taking responsibility for your own decisions. There is no formula for guarantee of success, however, the Business Facilitators at the Centre provide realistic advice and assistance to help you make the right decisions on any part of your business. This assistance is available for start up or existing businesses.
NEIS Program
The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) is a Federal Govt Program to help the unemployed to become self employed. The Penrith Valley BEC has been a successful NEIS Provider for nearly 20 years and always provides professional and up to date service. NEIS has three components, firstly completion of a Small Business Management training course to learn how to run a business, secondly the Govt pays income support called NEIS allowance paid fortnightly for twelve months and thirdly we provide mentoring which involves regular discussions with our experienced Business Advisors and Resources. Training Workshops
If you are starting a business or are already in business we offer workshops relevant to managing and operating a Small Business. Each workshop covers essential aspects of Small Business Management.
